Info: Our guest is Ahmed Rashid. The tenth anniversary edition of his book "Taliban" has just been released by Yale University Press. Mr. Rashid has been covering violence in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Tajikistan since 1979. He currently writes for BBC Online, the Washington Post, El Mundo, the International Herald Tribune, among others. Previously he spent 20 years as a correspondent for the Far Eastern Economic Review. His previous book was "Descent into Chaos: The United States and the Failure of Nation Building."
